Many heated debates and blames took place in the Bollywood industry after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. This created B-Town an ugly place. Some celebs said the industry indeed promotes nepotism while others dismissed these talks. Now actor Vivian Dsena has come forward to opine on the same. In addition, the actor also talked about his gratification with working in TV platform.
Vivian Dsena talks about nepotism and drug abuse:
Vivian confessed that he never had a big Bollywood dream because he never differentiated between Bollywood and small screen. He also said that Tv has more reach and audience than silver screen as movies are promoted using TV shows. He boldly added, “People who consider TV a smaller medium than Bollywood need to get their facts checked.”
Talking about nepotism, he said, “These nepotism, favouritism debates have taken an ugly shape and it’s time we start focusing on the positive aspects rather than destroying all the good things around us. Professional rivalry is a part of any industry. Sometime we get our dues and sometime we don’t, but to blame the whole industry for that is foolish.”
Also, the actor talked about the drug abuse in Bollywood. He said that drug consumption is definitely a deadly addiction and one should not encourage that. He believes drug addiction starts with loneliness and failure. Vivian also said, “Regular consumption of drugs gives you a false sense of happiness.”
Insighting about the importance of taking self-breaks for actors, he said, “I enjoy being in my own space and have always taken long enough breaks in between projects because it takes a lot of unlearning after you’re done playing a character for the longest time.”
Talking about the new normal, he said that now he will try to do his makeup and hair on his own while shooting. However, he feels it’s tough.
