Indian Bollywood Actress Richa Chadha owes a lot to dancing. She feels that dance has helped her ace as a performer. She even confesses that her grandfather was a thriving force to take up this valuable skill. However, she feels it’s a loss that she didn’t get an opportunity yet to utilize her dancing skill yet.
Actress Richa Chadha confesses that she wants to explore this skill on-screen. Richa revealed that she learned dancing in Delhi for ten years. She started taking dance lessons at the age of six. She kept taking dance lessons until up to high school. Richa believes that the rhythm the dance has introduced in her body has made her become a better performer. Now, she feels it amusing that she hasn’t got to utilize her dancing skill yet on the screens.
Actress Richa Chadha:
The actress further said, “It has helped me be agile and flexible. It has also helped me mentally in appreciating classical forms because Indian classical forms are by far the most evolved dance form anywhere in the world,”
Making a personal confession, Chadha shares that it is her grandfather who pushed her in this direction. “Once, I explained to him how acting is a great profession, and I’d be good at it. And he told me that I should look up actresses from the past like Waheeda Rehman, Vyjayanthimala, Madhuri Dixit and Asha Parekh to see how they would be so graceful and fluid in their movements. This set my desire to learn dancing,”
