The bigwig filmmaker Amit Masurkar recently received the honoured for serving as a jury at the third edition of the ‘All Living Things Environmental Film Festival.’ For the unversed, Amit is known for directing critically acclaimed movies like Sherni and Newton. Both the films had received rave reviews from the audience and were content kings. Now, as per the latest report, he has come on board to serve as a jury to the most awaited film festival this year.
For the unversed, ALT EFF – All Living Things Environmental Film Festival started in the year 2020 virtually. The festival is back this year with a diverse array of films from around the world. The event was started with a strong vision to bring awareness and start the discussion conversation on nature, conservation and the environment at large. It comes from the talented Kunal Khanna.

This year, the jury will get to see an array of 55 films lined up with 33 exclusive India premieres. Even the bigwig filmmaker Masurkar has joined in on this woke venture. Talking about the festival, Amit says, “Climate change is real and we are facing serious consequences of years of environmental degradation today. ALT EFF is helping create awareness and steer public opinion in favour of conservation and animal rights. I’m honoured to be part of this year’s jury. And I look forward to watching incredible films from all over the world. They have been curated to create a positive change in our thinking and behaviour.”
