After making erroneous claims that he had been diagnosed with cancer, Chiranjeevi criticizes the media for “writing nonsense.”
Telugu cinema’s biggest star, Chiranjeevi, is well-known for his charity endeavors. In order to help patients throughout the state and beyond, he manages blood banks. Also emphasized by Chiranjeevi are the benefits of early diagnosis and the need for routine health checkups to prevent difficulties in the future. A colonoscopy had been performed. Evidently, he had polyps that were found and removed. The nature of them was benign (not malignant). The body’s numerous organs can develop polyps, which are tiny tissue growths. A human being may be in grave danger from them if they are malignant.
The celebrity used Twitter to definitively dispel rumors about his health.
The “Acharya” actor said in a Telugu essay that the media mistook his cancer awareness initiatives for a cancer diagnosis. He did, however, also admit that he had a normal colonoscopy and had a few benign polyps removed. After opening a cancer center, he posted about cancer awareness, which led to numerous stories of him receiving cancer treatment.
“A long time ago, I mentioned the necessity of spreading awareness about cancer when opening a cancer facility. I informed you that if you have routine medical exams, cancer can be avoided. I participated in a colonoscopy test while awake. I mentioned finding and removing non-cancerous polyps”. He wrote, “I just said, If I hadn’t done the test first, it would have turned out to be cancer”.
He continued by criticizing the media for propagating false information about a cancer diagnosis and purposefully misrepresenting his statements.
“An appeal to such journalists, Don’t write rubbish if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Many people are terrified and hurt as a result of this”, the superstar quoted.
In the year 2006, Chiranjeevi was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian distinction in India. In the same year, he received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University. He has won the Filmfare Awards South ten times and the Nandi Awards four times.
The Indian Super League team Kerala Blasters FC counts Chiranjeevi as one of its co-owners.
