Himanshi Khurana On Government Actions On Child Labor
When asked about her thoughts on the actions that the government should take to address the problem of child labor. She explains, “Child labor can have serious negative effects on kids and their families. Since many youngsters work as bonded laborers or as slaves, working does not necessarily mean that they provide for their families financially or that they all get compensated for their job. Additionally, they encounter a variety of issues that could harm their upbringing in the long run.
Therefore, to address this, there should be a proper, strict law against those who engage in child labor. Additionally, offering free education to all children living below the poverty line will improve their quality of life, perspective on the world, and ability to interact with others.”
Himanshi said, “Governments, societies, and communities should cooperate in a better way with each other to eliminate child labor, in addition to punishing those who force children to work, in her closing remarks regarding the measures that may be made to address this significant issue. Experienced individuals should be consulted regarding potential novel solutions, and after careful planning and implementation of a single strategy to resolve this difficult issue, this can rapidly disappear.”
