Hina’s father left for a heavenly abode on April 20 due to cardiac arrest. At the time, Hina was not in the city. She was shooting in Kashmir with Shaheer Sheikh. As soon as she got the news, she rushed back to Mumbai. Sadly, at the airport, the paps and media people surrounded her. She politely requested them to let her go.
Upset by this, popular Television producer Vikas Gupta slammed the paparazzi. His stance and words on the issue were needed and appreciated. He bashed the media for clicking her away despite knowing the sensitive situation. He wrote, “Someone has lost their father and is requesting you to let her go to her family but still someone shouts face pe light maar and the pap doesn’t stop. @eyehinakhan was still being courteous extremely disappointed with the insensitivity shown here. RIP Uncle.”
Hina had also shared that she will be taking a break from social media and her team will handle her account if there are any promotional posts to be shared. Hina Khan wrote, “My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th of April, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While I and my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by my team for upcoming work commitments. Thank you for your support and love.”
