Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14 reignited the insider outsider debate in Bollywood industry. This made many celebs come forward and share their struggles with nepotism and favouritism in the industry. However, some denied its existence and others said that it is present in every sector. Now John Abraham has come forward to share his views on the same.
John Abraham talks about Nepotism in Bollywood:
Actor John is known for his strong physique, good looks and intense acting skills. The actor believes that everyone gets their own share of struggles and people have to battle them. He also said that he doesn’t subscribe to such terms and its merely a Twitter trending culture. He was quoted as, “I believe every individual, be it an insider or outsider, has his/ her own battles to fight. Whether you are gracious about it or bitter, it’s your decision, but you have to fight this battle. Every person has to prove a point, either you complain about it, or put your head down and bloody do your job. I am clear I have come here to do my job, and I will do it well.”
John also said that everyone has to create their own standards. He added that he is a great example for people as he is also an outsider. In addition, he said some people in the industry are gracious while others are not. He also said that this exists everywhere in every industry.
The Dostana actor has three projects in the making. He is yet to complete the shooting of Mumbai Saga, a multi-starrer crime drama by Sanjay Gupta. Satyamev Jayate 2, starring John, is in the queue to get released. He will also be seen in Attack, with Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez.
