Kangana Ranaut has refused to accept the stated box office figures, even as the Brahmastra team is jubilant over the significant earnings the film has been racking up since its September 9 release. The star claimed that the Brahmastra film’s producers fabricated statistics and stated that she wanted to speak with co-producer Karan Johar to better understand his use of mathematics.
In response to news that Brahmastra became a smash barely two days after its release, Kangana Ranaut shared several posts about the movie on her Instagram Stories on Sunday. She claimed that she was hounded regarding the business of her films. And that she was the target of a smear campaign. According to the producers, Brahmastra has made 160 crores in just two days worldwide.
“Released on Friday and Sunday, it’s already a big hit and, by the way, made huge profits as well. In ₹250 cr (that is also a fake figure). 650 crore (reportedly 410 crores) budget (including VFX). Even though Prime Focus is a co-producer, there are still expenses associated with visual effects. Yeh mathematician Karan Johar ka maths… Hum ko bhi seekhna hai (I also want to learn this maths by mathematician Karan Johar),” Kangana wrote.
In the subsequent post, Kangana linked a tweet from Box Office India that claimed Brahmastra was headed for success. In her most recent post, Kangana stated that she would like to interview Karan Johar. She claimed that the “movie mafia” uses several formulas to determine a hit.
The first installment of a science fiction trilogy, Brahmastra Part One-Shiva, was directed by Ayan Mukerji. It also has Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in supporting roles. Shah Rukh Khan has made a lengthy cameo appearance in the film.
