The marriage of Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen has turned into a public spectacle and is becoming worse by the hour. Rajeev responded by revealing how the actress had an alleged romance with television actor Karan Mehra after the actress accused Sushmita Sen’s brother of physical abuse and adultery. For the uninitiated, Rajeev Sen admitted during an interview with a tabloid that his estranged wife Charu Asopa had an affair with Karan Mehra, a former cast member of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rajeev claims that the actress also shared a love video with him on her Instagram account.
Karan Mehra To File A Defamation Case Against Rajeev Sen
Karan Mehra discusses how he was drawn by the cases of Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa in an interview with Etimes TV. Speaking about his meeting with Charu, Karan revealed that they had a conversation in June at a promotional event for Mere Angne Mein. What romantic relationship is Rajeev talking about, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star questioned. Karan continued by saying that after their promotional event, he and Charu never reconnected.
Following the altercation with his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal, Karan revealed that he is currently residing in Delhi. He says Rajeev Sen’s allegations are horrible and says he doesn’t wish to get in touch with Rajeev. I would prefer to bring a defamation lawsuit against him, Karan says in his closing statement.
Speaking about the same, Charu said to a different outlet that Rajeev’s allegations are unfounded. He is smearing her reputation since it will have an impact on her. She added that Rajeev had no justification for disparaging her. That’s why he said she was having an extramarital affair.
Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa were wed on June 9 in Goa. They soon developed differences, which resulted in a rocky marriage. Soon after being married and even during the lockdown, Charu and Rajeev were living apart due to the upheavals. However, they were able to work things out, and in 2021 the couple welcomed a daughter they called Ziana.
However, Rajeev and Charu have amicably decided to separate ways after multiple fruitless attempts.
