The Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui home quarantined for 14 days. The actor has traveled from Mumbai to the U.P. midst of the coronavirus outbreak. Due to which his family is also quarantined along with him. The actor and his family went under medical screening after he reached his house in Budhana in Muzaffarnagar district. They all have tested negative for the Covid-19. However, they have been instructed home quarantined for the next 14 days.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui took a travel pass from the authorities of both the states and reached his house on 15th May. Now that he has reached there, he and his family have been asked to stay home quarantined until 25th May. Nawaz traveled in a private vehicle by road along with his mother, brother, and sister-in-law. In conversation with the media, the actor said he underwent medical screening at 25 points during the journey.

The Station House Officer (SHO), of Budhana police circle, Kushalpal Singh, said health officials had visited his home and ordered a 14-day quarantine for them. Talking about the reason he traveled to his native was in wraps until recently when the actor himself tweeted clearing all doubts. People were accusing the actor of traveling to his house in the U.P. to celebrate Eid with his family even during the lockdown. The younger sister of the actor Syama Tamshi Siddiqui, 26, died in December last year after an eight-year battle with cancer. The actor says, because of the recent loss, my 71 years old mother had anxiety attacks twice. He even clarified that they are following all the protocols laid down by the state government.
