Actress Pavitra Punia is the most recent addition to this list, having been involved in a mishap while relocating. The heavy glass top of a center table collapsed on her feet while she was setting up her living room. Now, Actress Pavitra Punia on bed rest for 3 weeks.
“The glass top was so heavy that the minute it slid from my hands and crashed on my left foot, I realized it wasn’t simply typical agony. By the evening, my foot had swelled to the point where I could scarcely walk. A day later, I had an X-ray and was told I had serious ligament damage. I’ve been told to stay in bed for three weeks,” Punia told ETimes TV.
While she has been instructed to relax, she has a shoot in her homeland of Delhi on October 20, 2021. Her beau, Eijaz Khan, will be out of Mumbai for a shoot as well. When asked about the same, the actress said, “That’s a prior engagement that I can’t cancel. Eijaz will also be absent from town beginning October 20. I thought it would be best if I stayed with my family so that my mother could look after me. It’s a matter of my leg, and I’m not willing to risk it. I intend to stay with them for ten days and hope to celebrate Diwali with them later.”
We hope the actor recovers quickly from his injury and can return to work.
