Priyanka Chopra in a recent interview has revealed her thoughts about how her marriage with Nick Jonas goes on. In the interview with The Sunday Times, Priyanka called the age gap with Nick Jonas ‘not a hurdle.’ Not only this, but she also said that Nick adopted the Indian culture like fish to water. The 38-year-old actress, who just finished the shoot of Text For You in London, also added that the differences were more of adventures.
Priyanka Chopra Shares Views on 10-year Age Gap and Cultural Difference with Nick Jonas
Priyanka was questioned about how they bridged the 10-year gap and the cultural differences. Chopra answered, “Nick took to India like a fish to water. But just like a normal couple, you have to understand each other’s habits and what each other likes. So it’s more of an adventure than trying to figure out hurdles. None of it was really that hard.”
The couple got married in December 2018 in twin ceremonies that honoured both their roots. “It’s so comforting to find a person who is in your corner. Whatever I may be in my professional life or how the world perceives me, I’m just a girl trying to live her life in the best way possible, and I’m so grateful to have a partner in doing that,” she added.
As the lockdown restrictions across the globe were being relaxed, Priyanka immediately got back to shooting. She shot for Matrix 4 in Germany and thereafter moved to the UK to shoot for Text For You. The actress has been in London for quite some time now due to the lockdown. Nick joined her in November and there the couple celebrated their second marriage anniversary together.
Talking about staying indoors while quarantining, she had said, “Quarantine gave us the ability to spend a lot of time together, which I’m really blessed by. Because with both of our careers it’s hard to find that kind of time.”
