Gehana Vasisth Revealed Raj Kundra’s Plan
In an interview with Navbharat Times, Gehana Vasisth revealed, “I went to Raj’s office only a few days before I got detained. I learned there that he intends to create an app called Bollyfame. Reality programs, talk shows, music videos, and non-bold films were all planned to be included on the app. We also discussed a few screenplays and considered hiring Shamita Shetty, Sai Tamhankar, and a few other performers in one of them.”
Gehana further alleged that she was meant to direct these films and that Shamita Shetty had agreed to it with Raj Kundra’s PA, Umesh Kamat, who is also a defendant in this case.
Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty’s husband, was arrested and taken to jail by the Mumbai Crime Branch on July 19. The businessman was identified as a key conspirator in the case. The case involved the fabrication and distribution of pornographic movies using the “Hotshots” app. Raj has said that he sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019. It has been revealed that Kundra and his brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi, who lives in the United Kingdom, collaborated on the project.
Raj owns Viaan Industries Ltd, according to IANS. While Pradeep Bakshi, a British citizen married to Kundra’s sister, is the Chairman of Kenrin Ltd. in London. Kenrin Ltd produced the smartphone app ‘HotShots Digital Entertainment,’ and both businesses worked on it. Kundra allegedly supplied the content and oversaw the UK business from his Viaan Industries headquarters.
