Alia Bhatt was understandably upset when photographers took pictures of her inside her home. The actress criticized the magazine on her Instagram story and even mentioned Mumbai Police in her post. Alia wrote, “Are you kidding me? Sitting in my living room, having a completely ordinary afternoon at home, I suddenly sensed someone or something staring over me. When I looked up, two men on the terrace of the next-door building were pointing a camera directly at me. In what universe is this acceptable and permitted? Someone’s privacy has been blatantly violated. It is safe to conclude that today, every line was crossed. There is a line you should never cross.”
Karan Johar, Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor joined her in supporting her and denouncing the breach of her privacy. Ranbir Kapoor has now commented on the subject. In an interview with Miss, Malini Ranbir stated, “It was an invasion of privacy My house is my home, so you cannot shoot there or prevent anything from happening there. It was completely inappropriate. We are handling it legally according to the correct procedures. I don’t want to dwell on it too much, but it was quite repulsive.”
He continued saying, “We respect the paparazzi. The paparazzi, in my opinion, exist in our environment. They collaborate with us, and we collaborate with them. But, situations like this force you to your limit and make you feel ashamed of the person who did it.”
Alia Bhatt will next make her Hollywood acting debut with Heart of Stone. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani by Karan Johar. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is now appearing in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Animal, his upcoming album, is set to drop in August 2023.
