Rapper Divine On His 3rd Album ‘Gunehgar’
Speaking about the album, Divine said, “Gunehgar” symbolizes the start of a revolution. With my enthusiasm and appetite for desi hip hop, I’m going to achieve unimaginable heights. I also wanted to express my gratitude and excitement for a variety of things. As the year draws to a close, this is my humble gift to my community and my supporters, who have been patiently waiting for a music release.”
The album centers on competing themes of sin and virtue as well as angels and devils, much like his second album, “Punya Paap.” The lyrics of the songs on the album reveal introspection, fears, frailties, healing, joy, ambition, and success. The songs are intensely personal.
The rapper, who hasn’t released any music in nearly two years, also revealed a stunning image of Divine, dressed in shiny black and posing in front of a neon pop classic car, in addition to showing the album’s excellent artwork. Colstan Julian is credited with taking the photo.
“Gunehgar” will be made accessible on all audio streaming services on November 10, 2022. The album will be under the labels of Mass Appeal India and Gully Gang.
