Simaran Kaur On Her Journey To Becoming An Actor
Speaking about her transition from being a voiceover artist to an actress, Simaran said, “I have been working since I was 10 years old. In the Doremon cartoon, I was the voice of Nobita’s character. For almost a decade, I dubbed for the role. I used to like singing, dancing and acting like a child. Later, because I knew I wanted to be an actress, I began taking theatre and acting workshops. But it wasn’t easy. I was rejected from several auditions,” she explains. Finally, I got my first show, Agni Phera, and moved to Mumbai. Since then, I haven’t looked back.”
In the meantime, she is looking forward to her next performance. The actress Simaran explained her part in Aggar Tum Na Hote. She said, “I play a nurse. It’s a character with a lot of potentials. Nurses have my highest regard for the work they do, especially during the pandemic, when they have labored tirelessly. Niyati, my character, speaks a lot of Shayari, and I enjoy employing shayaris and poems in my daily discussions as well. As a result, I feel a connection to my character.”
