The dynamics of Indian cinema were altered by Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. The films were directed by SS Rajamouli. The Telugu film gained popularity around the world and was the largest box office success. The movie paved the way for the growth of South Indian cinema and boosted the careers of the actors involved, especially Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, and Tamanah Bhatia all had significant parts in Baahubali. In a recent interview with Film Companion, the actress talked candidly about how she was unable to benefit from Baahubali’s massive success in the same way as her male coworkers. The F3 actress brought out how masculine performers are still given credit for action flicks.
Tamanah was reported saying, “I feel like in action films, the credit is still always given to the male equivalents.” She does think that Prabhas and Rana Daggubati deserved that level of attention, though. She said, “Since the size of the part I had was also similar. I think it’s fair that what the film did for Prabhas and Rana Daggubati is different from what it did for me.”
She continued by saying that her mental state prevented her from really savoring her success in Baahubali. But she is appreciative of all the support and feedback she got for her part in the successful movie.
Upcoming Movies
In the meantime, Tamannaah is a well-known actress in both Bollywood and the South. Her flicks, such as the most recent teaser for Lust Stories 2, her sexy picture shoots, and rumors about her relationship with Vijay Varma, constantly manage to make headlines.
Regarding her next projects, Tamannaah Bhatia is anticipating the release of the Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer. The movie is almost ready to hit theaters on August 11, 2023. Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar, and other actors will also appear in the movie. In addition, she is hard at work filming Bholaa Shankar, a Telugu movie starring Chiranjeevi and Keerthy Suresh. The movie and Jailer both have the same release date.
In Dileep’s Malayalam movie Bandra, the actress also portrays the female lead. The movie, which is being directed by Arun Gopy, will star Tamannaah in a princess-type role, and her character will speak both Malayalam and Hindi.
