A complaint was made against Honey Singh and his team on Wednesday by the owner of an event firm, who claimed they had kidnapped and abused him. The musician has been quite active in promoting Honey Singh 3.0, his most recent album. In the midst of all of this, information about his legal troubles surfaced. He is charged with assaulting and kidnapping an event manager. An FIR was filed against Honey Singh and others by Vivek Raman, the proprietor of an event company, at the BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) police station in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The police are being encouraged to submit an FIR by Vivek Ravi Raman. According to the reports, no FIR has yet been filed.
Honey Singh Charged With Kidnapping And Assault
Vivek Raman, the proprietor of a well-known event company, has accused Yo Yo Honey Singh of kidnapping and holding him captive and has reported the incident to the police. In BKC, Mumbai, Vivek Raman organized Honey Singh’s Festivina event. On April 15, Vivek decided to cancel the event due to an issue with the money transaction.
He claimed that Honey Singh and his staff were exceedingly angry because of the cancellation. As a result, they then kidnapped and assaulted him. Vivek continued, saying he was held prisoner at the JW Marriott in Sahar, Mumbai.
According to Raman’s police report, “Yo Yo Honey Singh and his crew members Rohit Chhabra, Akshat Jaiswal, Rahul Jaiswal, Inderjit Sunil, Nikhil, Arvinder Kler, Arun Kumar, and Akshay Mehra “physically assaulted, kidnapped, and intimidated me. I was kidnapped and taken by a white Fortuner car from MMRDA, BKC to JW Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai, and was physically assaulted by fists, blows, and kicking. I was unfairly and illegally detained at JW Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai, for two days for bill payment,” the victim said.
Honey Singh Responds To The Allegation
The rapper for Brown Rang responded to the accusations by labeling them all “baseless and false.” According to a Honey Singh spokeswoman, the complainant and their business have no affiliation or agreement. “Through Tribevibe, a reputable company and a sibling company of Bookmyshow, I got hired for the Mumbai Show. I performed for however long the permission was granted. The rest of these claims are untrue attempts to harm my reputation. To bring a defamation lawsuit against such miscreants, my legal team is already at work.”
