In the new interview, Kapoor confessed how much her glam in social media helps her pay the EMIs. The actress confesses that her glamorous persona on social media is completely contrasting with her simple personality in real life and the roles she does in the films.
Janhvi Kapoor:
In the interview, Janhvi says, “People often tell me that my social media presence and the films that I do are completely contrasting. They feel that this might make the audience harder to adapt to the serious roles that I do like the one in Mili. However, I try to protect myself from being calculative. People might usually get thrown off by seeing me in a Manish Malhotra saree and then in a simple Kurta on the big screens. I believe this is my art and skills. I desire to be as real and authentic about it.”
She elaborates, “I don’t want to take this seriously. My social media page is to have fun. I hope to look cute and that five more people would like the pictures. This might help me get another brand and would help me pay my EMIs with more ease than before.”
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is rocking the big screens with her performance in the film Mili. It is an official remake of the Malayalam movie Helen which was directed by Mathukutty Xavier. Click here to read the honest movie review of Mili by Bollywood Hush.
