The Bawaal movie, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, will debut on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, July 27. This was previously announced. There has been a change in the plans, according to our source.
According to a source who spoke to Bollywood Hungama, “Bawaal was initially dropped by the producers and the Amazon Prime Video crew on July 27. Varun Dhawan and other members of the core team felt that it wouldn’t be the right choice because Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar, opens on July 28. Varun believed that even though KJo’s movie will be released in theatres, it wouldn’t be fair for his movie to have its OTT premiere the day before his mentor’s eagerly anticipated movie. As everyone is aware, Varun holds Karan in great regard because it was Karan who gave the former his big break in Student Of The Year (2012).”
Bawaal movie:
Aur Rani Kii, Rocky Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi all appear in Prem Kahaani. The source went on to say, “The decision-making authority thought this argument had substance. In light of this, they have chosen to bring Bawaal on Friday, July 21. The beginning of the promotions is anticipated for the first week of July.”
Nitesh Tiwari, known for the films Chhichhore (2019) and Dangal (2016), is the director of Bawaal, which is made by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Bawaal will bypass a theatrical run and make its Amazon Prime Video debut instead. It’s interesting to note that the movie was originally intended to premiere in theatres. Additionally, the release date was set for October 6. The movie’s direct OTT premiere became official with the release of a poster on Monday, June 19, from the producers and Amazon Prime Video.
According to rumours spreading online, Bawaal will make its world premiere in mid-July at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. According to the rumours, Paris has a significant role in the movie, hence the French capital was chosen to host the premiere. Click here to read more about the Bawaal movie.
