Now, Richa Chadha has gotten back together with an ex who is not a real person. The performer received rigorous training in Kathak as a child but had to stop because of her board exams. But when the opportunity to work with the master Sanjay Leela Bhansali forced her to change course, she started to pursue Kathak once more.
The actress claims, “I studied Kathak for ten years as a child under Pt. Abhay Shankar Mishra. After that, life intervened, and my passion for dance was abandoned. I was concerned that I was losing my touch since, like any art form, it requires practice. However, it resembled swimming somewhat, and I believe I can float without a life jacket. I believe that dancing has the power to improve a person’s sense of connection, stability, self-assurance, and undoubtedly, happiness. Movement is therapeutic. Under the guidance of my master Pt. Rajendra Chaturvedi, I intend to finish my dance degree this year.”
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious web series for Netflix also features Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Fardeen Khan, and Paresh Pahuja. Check out more about Heeramandi here.
