Apne 2, directed by Anil Sharma and starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Karan Deol, will begin shooting in September. The film will be a sequel to the critically acclaimed Apne. The film’s photography was scheduled to begin in March of this year. The plans, however, were pushed back with the second wave of Covid-19.
Himesh Reshammiya created the title music for Apne, which was released in 2007. According to a tabloid, Anil Sharma recognizes the importance of music in the success of Apne and assures that Himesh Reshammiya would compose the music for Apne 2 as well. It is Anil Sharma’s debut sequel, and he has stated that Apne 2 is a very emotional narrative that would find a home in people’s hearts. He also stated that he will do his best to improve upon the prequel.

Director Anil Sharma will start shooting in September, and the film will be released in March or April of the following year.
