Gumraah movie review:
Yet another remake, I grant you, but have you seen the original? When the answer is frequently “no,” what is wrong with the remake? Yes, it may be a problem to not make something new, but if the plot is strong and the Hindi audience hasn’t seen much of the original, then there shouldn’t be as many issues with the remake as there are now because Bollywood has become the centre of attention for both minor and major events. The Tamil movie THANDAM is remade from the movie Gumrah. This movie has already been remade in the South by the people of Telugu under the name “RED,” and now Bollywood has done the same.
The start is good. The murder scene shocks, but after that, the movie loses focus. The first half ends with you feeling bored, but the second half is when the movie really takes off, with some spectacular twists and turns. Can’t you predict what will occur? Such unexpected turns occur one after another, keeping you seated until the unexpected climax. This movie could have been fantastic if the first half had been a little better.
Aditya Roy Kapur plays two characters, and he or she does a superb job in each of them. Both have unique tones, and they both did a great job of displaying those tones. Mrinal Thakur is now a police officer and has a stunning appearance. She also does excellent acting. It’s entertaining to observe her as a police officer. Ronit Roy did a fantastic job portraying the ACP.
Conclusion:
Although Vardhan Ketkar does a terrific job directing, the first half needs improvement. There ought to have been some surprises as well. But the second half’s direction is superb. For a split second, you don’t blink. The music of Ketan Sodha is passable. Such a movie shouldn’t have many songs, but there are a few that are just mediocre. Such a song does not exist, as you recall. In conclusion, you should watch this movie if you enjoy watching crime thrillers.
