‘Tejas,’ directed by newcomer Sarvesh Mewara, depicts a violent drama about an Indian Air Force pilot played by Kangana Ranaut. The producers of Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike have sponsored the film.
Kangana has previously stated in a statement regarding the film, “Tejas is an exhilarating story in which I have the honor of playing an air force pilot. I’m honored to be a part of a video that honors the brave men and women in the military. They risk their lives every day in the line of duty. The armed forces and their heroes are honored in our film… I’m looking forward to embarking on this adventure with Sarvesh and Ronnie.”
Kangana was spotted filming for the film in numerous regions of India earlier this year, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Rajasthan.
Aside from ‘Tejas,’ Kangana has several other projects in the works, including ‘Thalaivi,’ ‘Dhaakad,’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns The Legend Of Didda.’ She will also be seen in the political drama “Emergency,” in which she will play former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
