Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the shootings of any type of media was banned all around India. However, now the states are permitting to resume shootings with some newly added rules. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackrey held meetings with the leading organizations of the entertainment industry to come to a conclusion. IFTPC, CINTAA, and FWICE came has now resolved the pending issues and have concluded for Maharashtra to resume shooting soon.
Maharashtra to resume shooting:
Through a virtual meeting, IFTPC, CINTAA, and FWICE decided to provide two sets of insurances for the cast and crew. Their insurance covers death Cover of 25 lacs due to Covid-19, and also, hospitalization cover of Rs. 2 lacs uniformly across all hierarchy of the cast & the crew.
Moreover, every rule and precautionary method will be followed to ensure the safety of the people working on the sets. The three organizations also decided to reduce the period of credit for cast and crew from the existing 90 days to 30 days for at least the first three months. Their decision includes mutually negotiated pay cuts without actors facing any sanctions, and continued dialogue with all parties for easing working conditions were also agreed without delaying the resumption of shootings.
IFTPC, CINTAA, FWICE, and the Broadcasters announced that the shooting will begin immediately. Along with the broadcasters, the viewers are excited too on watching a new saga to unfold in their household soon. Entertainment lovers will soon get to watch their favorite serials and movies on their televisions.
