Meenakshi Sundareshwar Review:
At first, the movie is at a languid pace. The film shows a cringe-worthy stereotype of Tamilians and south Indians. The love of our star couple Meenakshi Sundareshwar sits awkwardly from the beginning.
After they get married, sad things happen. Regardless, how the characters take up the situation and react to it is not easy to digest as viewers. It is hard to take the characters and the film seriously.
The film lacks depth, and it feels like forced traditionalism on the characters and the story. The protagonists also lack the depiction of evolution. The narrative development that keeps the characters apart seems overly stressed. Ultimately, it gets impossible to understand why on earth they remain with each other considering that they have nothing going for them.
