The actor Ruhaan Saapru, who starred as Veera, Sadda Haq, Jhalli Anjali, and later Kalash in Ek Veer ki Ardaas, asserts that success cannot solely be attributed to good fortune. Success is relative, the actor continues, and one must take a holistic perspective on life.
He says, “In my life and career, there have been ups and downs. I have observed those who are lucky. But I suppose I fall into the group of folks who must put in 100% of their hard effort and 0% of luck. So, in the ten years of my job, I’ve learned one thing: you can’t control luck; it’s just an element that may or may not work every time. Additionally, it is impractical to put effort into everything in today’s lifestyle. Nowadays, people want everything immediately, including money and employment. I support hard labour. Smart work as having a general knowledge of everything and knowing how to use it in daily life.”
Ruhaan Saapru:
He claims that the first time he felt successful was the night he took home the Mr. and Miss Pune title from his first beauty pageant. Ruhaan says, “I’ll never forget that evening. I can still imagine the females going up to the stage to take pictures with me and the audience clapping for me. One of my all-time favourite nights was that one.”
Saapru continues, “When we were young, we used to think that success is in achieving this or that. I now believe that success is more than simply a materialistic concept. Whatever you accomplish, no matter how big or small, will be successful. For me, success is when I am able to make my parents smile or when I am able to help someone else.”
He responds, “For me, the most successful person in my life is my father since he has taught me how to work hard and make it to the top, when you ask him who is the most successful person in the world. Because of what he has taught me about life’s limitations. He gave up his comfort and spent 20 years living alone and apart from the family so that we might have a better way of life, a better education, and luxury. He is therefore my hero and the reason I am who I am today.”
Actor Ruhaan:
Ruhaan further adds, “Shah Rukh Khan, who showed us how a middle-class boy can become one of the biggest celebrities in the world, is for me the most successful person in India. Last but not least, in my opinion, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the most successful person on earth. He has shown us that age is just a number and that you can start your profession at any age, and for that reason, he is truly an inspiration to me and someone I look up to. I, therefore, believe that if I emulate these people I respect, I might end up being like them.”
But he stresses that success comes with caution. He concludes, “The adage “what goes up must come down” is true, and we have observed this occurring to individuals in both our film fraternity and other professions. Personally, I believe that you should be grateful to God and your audience for your accomplishment rather than taking pride in it. If we go with this mentality. There is no concern about dropping from whichever height you have attained. I also firmly believe that a masterpiece is produced when success and simplicity go hand in hand,”
