After a three-year successful run, Maddam Sir is about to or has already left the air. As the news was revealed, the fans were pretty stunned. Jay Production, run by Jay Mehta and Kinnari Mehta, produced the show. Pushpa in the show was portrayed by actor Sonali Naik, who talks about the experience.
The actress says, “Working for Maddam Sir may be the subject of a complete book. Every actor aspires to be a part of this product because it raises the bar for their careers.” She exudes emotion as she says, “I am and will always be grateful to God that I have been a significant part of this programme.”
“Pushpa often expressed how much she wanted to solve a case on her own, which never happened,” Sonali continues, summarising Pushpa’s experience. “As a result, when she succeeds, it is her proudest moment and she is finally content that her goal could come true.” According to the actor, “The fact that Maddam Sir had 750 episodes total and survived two lockdowns was a significant achievement.”
Maddam Sir:
“This was my second concert with Jay Production,” she says, praising them. “I started with Gathbandhan. I was delighted to be enlisted by Maddam Sir once it was over. The crew has been wonderful to deal with. The biggest show I’ve ever seen was this one.” She says. Maddam Sir established high standards for humour. “In the past, I never agreed to sitcoms because I used to think I didn’t understand comedy. Although I had my doubts about Maddam Sir, the way the settings and people were outlined made me feel confident. As I am a director’s actor, the writers, directors, and to some extent myself deserve all the credit. Moreover, I want to thank Jay sir and Kinnari ma’am for their support of me,” she continues.
“Every good thing comes to an end, so I would take it positively,” she continues regarding the show’s ending and talks about season 2. The actress adds, “As every successful show bids adieu, negotiations about season 2 begin. Some of these discussions are successful, while others are not. I don’t have any formal news about this case. If season 2 is announced, I would love to participate. I mean, who wouldn’t?”
Sonali had been receiving therapy from Maddam Sir for three years. “After a full day of filming, we joked and had so much fun that it felt peaceful when we went home. There are times when we are unable to make amends for our mistakes, but on this show, we can. Maddam Sir has set a standard, and it won’t be simple to meet it,” she concludes.
