The name of Benaf Dadachandji’s upcoming concert feels right. It’s all in the song Sapnon Ki Chhalaang serial. It accurately explains the reality that anything is possible if one works hard and pursues their goals. She portrays a fascinating character in the programme, which is produced by Invictus T Mediaworks and is run by Nilanjana Purkayastha and Herumb Khot.
The actress says, “To all the trainees, I am Priyal Radhika and the boss. She is another person who left a small village and succeeded in a big city. She is a no-nonsense, determined, and extremely driven woman who works hard. Priyal just wants the best for her apprentices. Her job is the centre of her universe.”

Like Priyal, Benaf admits that she is a perfectionist. She discusses the parallels and divergences. She says, “Like her, I take my work seriously and value completion of tasks on schedule. Also, she is very informed about code and computers, whereas I am not, and that is the sole difference between us,” she explains of her preparation for the role. The actress adds, “I watched a lot of videos of people in the corporate sector, paying attention to their body language and how easily they communicate without using their voices. I’ve modelled my character after my relatives and friends who live in that society.”
She continues, “This is my second show with the Nilanjana and Herumb’s Invictus Team, and working with them every time is great. First of all, I’m appreciative that they considered me and offered me this fantastic character. Because it is so wonderfully written, you feel pressured to perform well and do it right. In Sapnon Ki Chhalang, a girl from a tiny town is shown to have aspirations. I aspire to be the best in whatever I do (smiles).”
The entertainment business is changing. Benaf answers, “The best thing is that you get to play so many different characters and touch the hearts of millions and become a part of their life and family.” when asked what she finds most rewarding about working in show business.
