Faraaz: Pallak Lalwani To Make Her Bollywood Debut
Hansal Mehta directs Faraaz, an action thriller feature film. The attack on the Holey Artisan cafe in Bangladesh in July 2016 inspired the film. Palak explained how she landed the part, saying, “I’ve been auditioning with MCC for a while now (Mukesh Chhabra Casting). When I got the call for this project, I was on the road, so I had to shoot my audition clip outside with the help of my friends, who gave me signals and helped me record a self-test. I received a call and was scheduled for the component within a week.”
Palak described her time working with Hansal Mehta as follows: “Working with Hansal Sir was an incredible experience, and I’m grateful to have started my career in this field with him. I loved being on set; it felt like home to me. Hansal Sir gave us all a little leeway to develop our personas in our distinct ways. We had to go through months of tough workshops and sessions before we could go on set. Working on the project has been a fantastic and educational experience for me. I want to work on many more projects with him in the future.”
This year, Palak’s flicks Sinam, starring Arun Vijay, and Partner, starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Hansika Motwani, will be released. Palak is now studying Kathak and Belly Dancing.
