Bollywood’s most versatile veteran actor, Shiv Subrahmanyam, an award-winning screenwriter took his last breath on Sunday night. The actor has given a lot to the entertainment industry. His exceptional acting skills have always amused the audience. The actor was known to make his presence felt even in the supporting roles.
Unfortunately, the Bollywood industry has lost another gem. The actor is known for many blockbuster films and series. Some of his noteworthy projects include, ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, ‘Nail Polish’, ‘2 States’, ‘Hichki’, ‘Rocky Handsome’, ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’ and more.
The ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta gave the public insights into the actors’ death. He stated, “With profound and heartfelt grief, we wish to inform you of the passing of one of the most dignified and noble souls to inhabit human form – our dearest Shiv Subrahmanyam. Incredibly talented, he was much loved and revered personally as well as professionally.”

He further added, “We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Diyya, her mum, dad, Rohan, Rinki, and family; Bhanu Chitti and all of Shiv’s family; and his huge legion of friends and fans.”

On the work front, apart from acting, Shiv Subrahmanyam is known for writing screenplays for films like Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Parinda’ in 1989, and Leena Yadav’s ‘Teen Patti’ in 2010 and Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ in 2005.
