Your life is better when you are loved and understood by someone. One must go with their heart while selecting a life partner. Even the recent vow renewal between Hardik Pandya and Natasha Stankovic and Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra made the news. Celebrity nuptials are often the centre of attention. Akashdeep Sabir, an actor who most recently starred alongside Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur in the online series The Night Manager, believes that the media is a major factor in this.
The versatile actor says, “In my opinion, the media overhyped it relative to the public interest. Similar to other destination weddings in India, where weddings are generally overdone. On discussing the marriage of Sid and Kiara, Akashdeep says, “What’s nice is the pairing of two stars, and we wish them happy times ahead. The actors themselves desire exposure most of the time. Does anyone not? Privacy invasion wouldn’t really apply in this case. Certainly, I consider it more of an invasion of privacy when the paparazzi follow Taimur [Ali Khan Pataudi, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s older son] and other celebrity youngsters.”
Akashdeep Sabir:
These extravagant weddings incur significant financial expenses. Every average person loves it and wishes they might experience a similar occasion in their lifetime. Absolutely, the couple getting married has the final say. The actor, who appears in the movie Selfiee, continues, “Some people prefer it modest, while others desire the huge, massive Indian wedding.” Privacy is a thing of the past in the social media age. The actor concurs, saying that social media has made it impossible for public figures to avoid the spotlight of the media.
Akashdeep Sabir quickly adds, “Again, as I stated earlier, it’s a choice for the couple to make. I don’t think people should spend so much money on weddings under the guise of ‘Shaadi toh ek hi baar hoti hai. In general, today’s youth are more pragmatic, and I anticipate that these extravagances will decline with time.”
Only a few movies also praise weddings and parties. “Once again, it’s the maker’s vision. Everybody dresses up for a wedding, the venue is decked up, and the razzmatazz looks lovely if it’s properly documented. He claims that filmmakers like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Sooraj Barjatya have created some beautiful marriage sequences in their movies.” He concludes.
