The Indian TV actress Avika Gor is all set to make her Bollywood debut. She is also known for playing prominent roles in South films. For the unversed, Avika had started at a very young age. She played the role of young Anandi in the blockbuster TV serial Balika Vadhu. Now, she came forward to talk about the controversial video of Riva Arora and Karan Kundrra. To the ones who don’t know, a viral video of the young Riva Arora (12) and TV heartthrob Karan Kundrra (38) roaming together has brought up many questions among the netizens.
Trolls have bashed Riva Arora’s mother for making her young daughter play roles that don’t suit her age. Netizens are infuriated with the new video and the absurd pairing between the two characters. The Riva Arora and Karan Kundrra video has gone viral on the internet and the controversy doesn’t seem to come to an end. Now, another actress Avika who started her career at a very young age comes forward in support of Riva Arora and her mother.
Avika Gor:
She says, “At the time of Sasural Simar Ka I was paired with Manish Raisinghan. He is eighteen years older than me. Regardless, everyone in the script was clear that our pair wouldn’t have any romance. As they felt it would seem out of place. All the scenes in the serial were within limits. The makers of the show respected the fact that I was only 14 years old and didn’t include any intimate scenes.”
She further speaks about the time when she was paired next to a 30-year-old. Avika says, “Age only becomes a problem when scenes start looking vulgar and is unhealthy for the kids. All kinds of things about the pairing were said, but the only response the writers and I had was – there is no vulgarity or intimacy because of fact that I was young. Citing the example of the film Paa (2009), in which Vidya Balan played Amitabh Bachchan’s mother, she adds,”
The actress ends by saying that age is not a problem if everything is done perfectly. So, this was all about the actor Avika Gor. Stay connected to Bollywood Hush for more updates on Avika and Bollywood Life News.
