1920 Horros Of The Heart Review- It’s amazing how much has changed recently, yet Vikram Bhatt’s method of making horror films is still stuck in the past. He has since handed the torch off to his daughter Krishna Bhatt, but neither freshness nor true fright remains. Mansions in the middle of nowhere, creaky doors, mirrors, and candles have all become cliches. It’s time for directors to think beyond the box and inject new concepts into horror films. 1920: Horrors of the Heart is cliched and has an absurd plot that doesn’t keep viewers interested. The literary licence used and interwoven into the narrative irritates rather than amuses. The movie would have been considered if the writers had placed more effort into coming up with really terrifying scenes.

1920 Horros Of The Heart Review:
The performances of Avika Gor and Barkha Bisht, who bring a certain sense of grace to the screen, help the movie find some redemption. Although their portrayals are passable, they don’t achieve particularly high standards. Rahul Dev as Shantanu and Danish Pandor as Meghna’s boyfriend Arjun give plastic-coated performances. Despite having an engaging story by Mahesh Bhatt and Suhrita Das at her disposal, inexperienced filmmaker Krishna Bhatt completely botched the scenario. The horror factor is significantly weak because the last 20 minutes of the movie are more comical than terrifying.
1920 Horrors Of The Heart is an incubation for Vikram Bhatt’s daughter, but regrettably, she does not take advantage of this chance. The movie fails miserably to achieve its primary objective of frightening viewers. Bollywood Hush rates the film 2 stars out of 5. Click here to read the latest Tiku Weds Sheru review.
