Being in the entertainment business is not simple. Even though the glitz and glamour may be attractive, it can be difficult to deal with work, love, and grief there. Actress Sneha Jain, who plays the lead in Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2, concurs but takes a different tack. Bollywood Hush got into a candid chat with the leading actress in the television industry to get some insights. The recent shocking death of the TV actress Tunisha Sharma has left the nation in shock. Sneha Jain shares her wise words about the entertainment industry and the stress that comes along with it. She also confesses that communication is the key in any relationship.
She states, “Yes, it is a challenging location, but every coin has two faces. We have witnessed numerous stunning unions in the industry, including Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. All of these stunning individuals are establishing happy marriages, raising families, and settling down. It’s not that you don’t meet people; rather, fewer of them have connections that last. It’s challenging to balance an actor’s life, especially when it comes to spending time with their partner. You can’t spend meaningful time together because of your hectic life.”
Actress Sneha Jain gets candid:
Sneha further adds, “A healthy partnership is dependent on open communication. One frequently feels attracted to someone when working on a project where they meet someone else and spend a lot of time talking and working together. This is occasionally misconstrued for love, which leads to confusion in a relationship. When schedules are tight, arguments break out, relationships end, and you become angry at not managing your personal and professional lives. Although it occurs in other businesses as well, it is difficult to sustain ties in this one. The job schedule is completely unpredictable. Since that is a commitment, even if you are working on the same show as your ex-partner, you must keep working. And dealing with that circumstance does get challenging,”

Extreme reactions are a result of heartbreak. Even the most extreme actions are taken by certain people. In a recent incident, Tunisha Sharma, who also co-stars in the television series Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, apparently took her own life due to disagreements with her boyfriend Sheezan Khan. “It is challenging if you split up and yet have to work together. If you don’t see the person, it’s a little bit simpler, but in this situation, where you have to perform for the show together, it’s incredibly upsetting. You experience a void inside when someone you love departs. Nothing is able to fill the gap, either. You start to lose your spirit, and because that period of suffering and depression is so tough to bear, many individuals just give up. For them, it appears to be the end of the world.” she continues.
Sneha opens up about mental health:
The mental health of those working in showbiz is also impacted by the unpredictable nature of the industry. Sneha concurs, saying, “People today are chasing after fame and money. They want to feel significant and in the news simply because they are using social media. The natural form of life is disappearing. People’s desire for attention is seriously harming them. Being home and not going to work makes one depressed and mad. They experience opacity. When people view the social media lives of others, they begin to judge and analyse their own lives as if they were genuine. Insecurity sets in instead of self-motivation.”

Adding further the actress says, “People should avoid comparing their lives to those of others and instead focus on living their own. Have patience; everyone is progressing well at their own rate. God might have something greater in mind for you. Instead of viewing it as a contest, start experiencing your life. Put your all into everything you do. Maintain a healthy work-life balance. pause in between projects.”
The actress believes that the business as a whole can assist one another in coping with mental health challenges. “One should not be ashamed to ask for assistance from others, or even their own family or friends. Talk to the one person with whom you feel most comfortable. Just ask for assistance. People should be able to count on us. I aspire to be the best possible human being on the planet. Being there for one another is the least we can do because we are experts in the field,” She adds.
Sneha Jain on Tunisha Sharma:
Speaking about Tunisha’s unexpected passing at the age of 20, Sneha says that whatever she was doing at work and experiencing, if she had spoken to anyone, she would have sought assistance. “I believe you should have unwaveringly loving friends who are not in the business. No one on this planet merits your life, not even to the point where you would kill yourself for them. Your life is more valuable than anyone else, and you are priceless. If I were in her shoes, I would have advised her to simply leave the show if she found working with the co-star to be challenging. You are not required to provide any support for your decision to leave. Life is what matters most, not work.”
