Actress Sneha Jain has always had a passion for acting. The Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 actor made sure to sharpen her skills to improve in the business, starting with mastering art at Barry John’s Institute and performing in theatre. She goes through a thorough preparation process before taking on each role to ensure that she can effectively convey the character to the audience.
The actress claims, “There are moments when I can just read the situation and act, and there are times when I just get into it and act, planning every detail—from facial expressions to body language. Both involve various types of mental preparation and processing. While there isn’t much to do in a TV drama, there are opportunities for experimentation in romantic or unusual situations. It depends on the setting, but I believe I perform well under pressure. When I am completely prepared, I don’t stumble, and I can accomplish everything in a single take.”
Actress Sneha Jain:
The actor believes that despite being in the business for a while, people frequently misunderstand what they do. She gives the reason. Sneha confesses, “People believe that we are only doing this for the money and the fame. But after that, they disregard our originality and diligence. People believe that we just perform Saas-bahu concerts, which have been around for a while. But maintaining it is exceedingly challenging. Vishal Jethwa, one of my buddies, has worked in television and is currently acting in motion pictures. We discussed TV and cinema when we first met, and he remarked that TV is really challenging and that viewers don’t value performers’ work very highly. Here, we are performing two scenes back-to-back while switching our makeup and attire.”
The actress further adds, “The timetables and work demands are demanding. It necessitates a larger unit. I have laboured in muck, sweltering sun, and storms. We made a significant effort. We are involved because we have to amuse the audience Monday through Saturday. Because we lack the freedom of time, we cannot compete with OTT or cinema. So think about how inventive and effective those working in the industry are.”
