The Tollywood superstar Vijay Deverakonda recently made her Bollywood debut with the film Liger. Even though the movie wasn’t a commercial hit, it made a lot of headlines because of its massive promotions. Along with Vijay the film also starred the young Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey. The never-seen-before duo was well appreciated by the fans for their on-screen chemistry and romance in the movie. As per the reports, the film was made on a budget of around 100 crores INR.
Now, as per the latest update, the lead actor Vijay was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). On Wednesday, he was brought into question in the connection of overfunding to his recent Bollywood debut film Liger. Allegedly, the questioning was done under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) violation. This report was produced by ANI citing a source.

Regardless, the movie did not do well on the big screens. The box office numbers didn’t come up as expected. This was the most awaited debut project of the Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda. Liger film was produced under the bigwig production house Dharma Productions led by the ace filmmaker Karan Johar.
Apart from Liger, Vijay is known for his role in the film Arjun Reddy. Bollywood made a blockbuster remake of this film under the title Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
