Lara spoke to Zoom TV about her daughter’s reaction. She stated, “My daughter was captivated. She watched it come to life right before her eyes… ‘Mum, they’re going to kill you, you can’t breathe,’ she exclaimed as she saw the full silicon on my face. She was concerned. But, having said that, she was interested and said, “Can I touch the nose, the eyebrows?” Is it possible for me to accomplish this or that?'”
Lara went on to say of Mahesh Bhupathi’s response, “My husband was taken aback. The gaze most likely made him feel uneasy. ‘I don’t want to embrace you,’ he said. You don’t appear to be yourself.”
Lara provided a sneak glimpse at her makeover for the part on Thursday. She shared a video on Instagram in which her make-up crew used prosthetics to alter her appearance.
She captioned the video, “Never had I imagined portraying a personality this pivotal & when I saw how this transformation translated on the screen, everything felt surreal & worth it.✨ Can’t wait for y’all to watch my performance in #BellBottom on the big screen in 3D on 19th Aug.????”
