Indian filmmaker, editor, screenwriter, and producer Onir specialises in film and television. He is most recognised for the movie My Brother. Nikhil, starring Sanjay Suri and Purab Kohli and based on the life of Dominic d’Souza, was one of the first popular Hindi films to address AIDS and same-sex relationships. For his movie I Am, Onir received the National Award. In total, he has received 16 film awards.
