Actor Ranndeep R Rai is content with the direction his career has taken so far, despite his desire to pursue an OTT show. The actor claims that, in contrast to many others, he is not chasing after the platform and that he will only commit to something after giving it careful thought.
The actor says, “In my opinion, it all depends on the actor’s perspective. For work, mine is neutral. I don’t mind doing anything if I think it will benefit the project, whether I play the primary role or not, or if it is on any platform. And yeah, OTT is the future, so everyone wants to participate in it. Yet, if you ask me, I don’t think that way. I’m content with the direction my career is taking. Naturally, I would adore the opportunity to work on an excellent OTT project on an excellent platform. But once more, I trust in fate. Hojayega jab hona hoga. I’m just putting a lot of effort into improving myself and my art because, to me, that’s more significant.”
About the types of shows produced nowadays, he states, “Makers create content in response to audience desire, so I have no remark on it. As long as there are no issues, neither the viewers nor the filmmakers nor the actors will encounter any issues.”
Ranndeep R Rai:
Through events, the entertainment business has exposed everyone to a wide range of topics, including abuse, discussion of extramarital affairs, sex, and narcotics. Speaking of the same, he claims “Modern children between the ages of 10 and 12 who have smartphones and access to the internet are more connected to the entire world than we are. They are fully informed. And since everyone has access to the internet and mobile phones and is aware of what is happening globally, I don’t believe that our chatting, abusing, or adulterous affairs have any negative effects on society. We no longer attain adulthood at the age of 15 or 16, as we once did. They develop maturity early on.”
Ranndeep claims that despite the influx of younger actors, hard work would always be recognised. He says, “Shah Rukh Khan has been employed since 1990, continues to be employed now, and is currently a star. Even now, the entire globe continues to admire his work. I believe it all comes down to the type of career you choose. But, if it were the case, individuals from this new generation would be more liked. Who receives what depends on luck.”
He concludes by saying, “I would love to play grey characters, not bad grey ones, he says while speaking about the job he wants to do on OTT. You probably know someone like Kabir Singh, who has a little touch of arrogance along with some action and romance.”
