The Top 11 competitors remain in the competition for the title of best home cook on MasterChef India 7. And this week, the “Time-Bomb” challenge will be used to assess the culinary prowess of Chefs Vikas Khanna, Garima Arora, and Ranveer Brar. The top 11 home cooks will receive 11 ingredients to distribute among themselves following a round of food-related trivia, and they will then be required to highlight that item in their daily dish.
When it comes to his cuisine, Sachin Khatwani of Lucknow will be using “Raspberry” as the main component. Chef Vikas Khanna shared his opinion on Sachin Khatwani’s dish. “Ek mandal mein 10 shaadi ho rahi hai and kisi ko nai pata kiski biwi kon hai (Ten weddings are taking place in the same room, but no one knows who is marrying whom),” was Chef Vikas Khanna’s comment on Sachin’s meal.
MasterChef India 7: Chef Vikas Khanna Comments On Sachin Khatwani Dish
Chef Vikas Khanna also discussed the dish. He stated, “I believe in this life maxim that also applies to food: Less is More! Throwing too many flavors and components into a dish detracts from its core. This can be made so much more pleasurable if you only concentrate on highlighting the best qualities of the star ingredient. Who would have believed Sachin could have made such a simple error. Even the best of us occasionally have terrible days. We hope Sachin learns from his mistakes. I do not doubt that he will since he is a bright young man.
Speaking of his experience, Sachin Khatwani said, “I will endeavor to use all of my senses in show with one another to become a chef. I made a mistake with this dish. There were opportunities that I overlooked. And the result was a mess on the plate. I concur with Chef Vikas that the plate had a lot going on it without a clear purpose. And when we deliver a plate to a customer. They shouldn’t look at it and wonder how the meal would taste. Food is the one honest item we use to nourish our hearts and minds. Thus it should never cause confusion. However, I continue to learn and apply these lessons to my abilities as a home cook every day to reach my full potential as a chef.”
